Had this book on hold at the library and picked it up yesterday. I’ve only had the chance to flip through it briefly but can’t wait to look through it more carefully.

After over a week of stubbornly trying to force-feed myself this (rather short) novel, I have failed to suffer past page 78 and am throwing in the towel. I know I should know better, but it’s a Pulitzer Prize winner and Marilynne Robinson called it “truly remarkable”! Oh well, onward to the next read.

Obsessed with five year journals right now. If I’m not careful I’ll be spending all my evenings filling in one sentence in a bunch of different journals! How cool will it be to look back on if I’m able to keep up with it for the full five years?
